Our nursery, the Experimental Station of the Institute of Pomology and Floriculture - Nowy Dwór Ltd., one of the biggest nurseries in Poland,is located in the central part of Poland near Skierniewice, about 60 km south-west from Warszawa.

'KZD Nowy Dwór' was established of the initiative of prof. Szczepan Pieniążek in 1977 as an Experimental Station of the Institute of Pomology and Floriculture. For a many years there was an excellent place for the reaserch work for the sientists of the Institute working at the ornamental nursery and bulb plants growing problems.

Since 2000 'KZD Nowy Dwór' is operated as the limited liability company (100% shares belongs to the Institute of Pomology and Floriculture).

We are dealing with the ornamental shrubs production now. Every year we improve our production introducing a new technologies and new attractive varieties of the shrubs, trees and perennials.

Our nursery covers an area of 130 hectars. On the container - field of 20 ha we are producing about 800 000 conifers, deciduous shrubs and big trees a year. About 60 ha is used for the open ground production of deciduous shrubs and conifers.

We sale our plants on the domestic market for the garden centers mainly, wholesale suppliers and landscaping firms.

Since more than 10 years we cooperate with our abroad customers from Finland, Denmark, Norway and lately from Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova fulfilling with success their high demands on the plants quality and assortment.

The high quality products is confirmed by a awards and medals we collect in our operating area:

- in 2002 we received the prestigious Europrodukt award in the 'highest quality ornamental plants production' category,
- in 2003 - Silver Medal of the Academy of the Polish Succes for the 'high quality products and the significant' position on the ornamental plants producers market,
- in 2004 - Gold Medal at the XXVI - th Horticulture Exhibition in Poznań,
- Diploma for 'the best production presentation' at the 4-th International Festival "Building & Architecture 2005" in Kiev,Ukraine.

In 2004 our company - as the first and only ornamental plants nursery producer in Poland - has got a certificate proving the implementation and maintenance Quality Managment System according to the ISO 9001:2000 standards in producion and sale of the ornamental nursery plants.

The Quality Management System maintenance and its continual improvement is a guarantee of the assurance of conformity to customer requirements.
